Wine the Experience: Five Years of Cheers!

Wine the Experience, a small-batch winery in Kilohana Square, will be celebrating the anniversary of their 5th year in business by throwing a small block party on Sunday, October 4, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm in Kilohana Square in Kapahulu.

Wine the Experience: Five Years of Cheers! will be thanking their loyal winemakers, the Kilohana Square tenants, and the community with an event that features food, fun, entertainment, and of course – wine! There will be food from India Café and Le Crepe Café, arts & crafts, music, a henna booth, shopping with Jessica’s Traveling Boutique… and who knows what else! 10% of the proceeds of all sales that day will go to their designated charity, Kanu Hawaii. Complimentary valet parking will be provided at the medical building parking garage across the street.

“Our doors opened on October 4, 2004 and literally over 10,000 gallons of wine have been produced to date!” exclaims Shannon Ball, co-owner. “Customers not only make a good wine – they take personal pride in crafting what they will enjoy drinking and sharing.”

Wine the Experience is Hawaii’s premier wine-tasting, wine-making venue. Patrons initiate the fermentation of the grape juice, and in about 8 weeks, they come back to bottle, cork, and label with custom designs. Wine the Experience’s elegant event space provides a cozy and fun atmosphere for all types of parties from small family get-togethers, to bachelorette parties, to corporate meetings.
