Get up to 50 Percent off with Fukubukuro Sales at Participating Stores and Restaurants
Get the biggest bang for your Christmas gift cards during Royal Hawaiian Center’s Fukubukuro New Year’s Day Shopping Event on January 1, 2010, starting at 10 a.m. Participating stores will fill grab bags with special merchandise, which will be sold at up to 50 percent off the retail value.
“We have such a wide variety of stores participating in this year’s Fukubukuro,” said Marleen Akau, general manager for Royal Hawaiian Center. “We can give our customers an array of options at great bargains. Even our restaurants are participating with great discounts on dining gift certificates.”
Restaurants will offer a limited number of gift certificates ranging from $25 to $100 that can be purchased at up to 50 percent off its value. Restaurant doors will also open promptly at 10 a.m. for gift certificate sales and will be available while supplies last. Participating shops and restaurants are highlighted below.

FREE PARKING: offer valid through January 31, 2010 Royal Hawaiian Center has the largest garage in the heart of Waikiki with 10 levels of parking and more than 600 stalls located adjacent to the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The Center’s free parking promotion offers 3 hours of free parking with any restaurant validation and 2 hours free parking with any food court validation. Five hours of parking is $5 when validated at Royal Hawaiian Theater. LEVEL 4 validations apply for $5 parking after 10 p.m. Dining and entertainment validations can be combined with retail validations of $2 for 2 hours. No minimum purchase is required for validation.
