These days, we use evites, egreetings, ecards, etc., everything but a real thank you card or invite that goes through the snail mail. I, personally, love to send real cards through the mail, but I found a beautiful substitute that looks pretty close to the real thing at www.paperlesspost.com

It is still a card that goes through the internet, but it looks so real! You sign up for FREE and get 25 stamps (which means you can send out 25 cards).
