Oftentimes when disaster strikes, people need to evacuate their homes with little more than the clothes on their backs. Our “Comfort Packs” are designed to help our ‘Ohana get through the first day or two following a tragedy.
Select an item off the wish list and help Build a Comfort Pack for members of our community displaced by tragedy. Adult: backpacks, rubber slippers, T-shirts size XL, small towels, lightweight blanket, journal/clipboard/pen, playing cards, handheld games, pre-paid cell phone, flashlights, small radio, travel size toiletries (mouthwash, toothpaste, floss, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, comb and a disposable razor); Keiki: all the items listed for an adult as well as books, puzzles, new small stuffed animal.
The Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross is an independent, nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of Hawaii’s people for its financial support. The American Red Cross disaster assistance is provided at no charge to people in need and is made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from people like you. We appreciate all donations.
